Ben’s Cookies has opened its seventh store in India in Mumbai’s Kala Ghoda, marking its first outlet in South Mumbai. The opening takes the brand’s network to seven stores across Delhi NCR and Mumbai within four months, as it continues to expand in the Indian market.
Founded in Oxford’s Covered Market in 1983, Ben’s Cookies is known for its chunky, soft-centred cookies. The Kala Ghoda outlet is located in a neighbourhood with heritage buildings, art galleries and cultural landmarks, giving the brand access to residents, professionals and visitors in South Mumbai.
The new store follows the brand’s established design approach and has seating for 10–12 people. Its menu includes all 13 cookie flavours, along with coffee, ice cream and soft serve. Customers can also pair cookies with ice cream or soft serve to create desserts.
For off-premise orders, cookies, coffee, gifting boxes and tins will be available through Swiggy and Zomato. Ice cream and soft serve will be served exclusively at the outlet. The gifting range targets occasions including birthdays, weddings, festivals and corporate events.
Ben’s Cookies plans to open eight to ten stores during the current financial year, followed by another four to six outlets. Northern India will be a focus for its next expansion phase, while the company is also exploring opportunities in other cities and locations.
The brand’s India strategy combines its core cookie range with complementary products such as coffee, ice cream and soft serve. Its gifting boxes and tins also provide an additional sales channel beyond individual store purchases.
With the Kala Ghoda opening, Ben’s Cookies has added its first South Mumbai location to its growing Indian retail network, with further outlets planned as it expands into new markets.
