AABL Launches Kultur Hard Seltzer in Madhya Pradesh

Associated Alcohols & Breweries Limited (AABL), the flagship alco-beverage company of the Associated Kedia Group, has entered India's hard seltzer segment with the launch of Kultur Hard Seltzer in Madhya Pradesh. The launch marks the company's entry into the ready-to-drink (RTD) category as part of its premiumisation strategy and portfolio expansion.

The company said the launch comes as India's RTD and hard seltzer categories continue to witness growth, driven by changing consumer preferences and increasing demand for premium beverage formats. Industry estimates indicate that the Indian hard seltzer market is expected to grow at over 10 percent CAGR in the coming years, while the broader RTD segment is projected to expand at nearly 18 percent CAGR.

AABL has chosen Madhya Pradesh as the launch market, citing growing demand for premium alcoholic beverages in cities such as Indore, Bhopal, Gwalior and Jabalpur, where organised retail, hospitality and nightlife formats continue to expand.

Kultur Hard Seltzer will be available in 330 ml cans across five flavours—Cranberry, Watermelon Mint, Mai Tai, Lemon and Juniper Triple Sec. The company said the range has been developed to cater to consumers looking for lighter, flavour-led alcoholic beverages suitable for social occasions.

The company plans to distribute Kultur through premium liquor retailers across key urban centres in Madhya Pradesh while also expanding availability through the HoReCa segment, including bars, lounges, cafés, restaurants, hotels and nightlife venues.

With the launch of Kultur, AABL strengthens its presence in the premium beverage segment while expanding into fast-growing RTD categories, reflecting the hospitality industry's increasing focus on contemporary beverage formats and evolving consumer drinking preferences.
