Wendy’s Opens New Outlet at Elpro City Square Mall in Pune

Rebel Foods, the master franchise holder for Wendy’s in India, has opened a new Wendy’s outlet at the food court of Elpro City Square Mall in Pimpri-Chinchwad, Pune, adding another location to the brand’s network in the city.

The new outlet is positioned within the mall’s food court and will serve Wendy’s burgers, fries and desserts to mall visitors and shoppers. The location also gives the QSR brand access to residential and commercial catchments around Pimpri-Chinchwad, along with the mall’s existing customer base.

The menu at the new outlet includes Wendy’s international-inspired offerings, with flavours influenced by Argentina’s Chimichurri, Louisiana’s Cajun, Korea’s Buldak, American BBQ, India’s Tandoori and Mexico’s Nachoburg. The recently introduced Teriyaki Burger range, based on Japanese sweet and savoury flavour profiles, is also part of the brand’s current menu.

The Pune opening comes as Wendy’s continues to expand its footprint through locations that include high-footfall retail and food-service destinations. The brand is also using menu variations based on international flavours to broaden its offering in the Indian QSR market. With the Elpro City Square Mall outlet, Wendy’s adds another location in Pune and continues its expansion strategy through new retail and food court locations.
