Subko has opened its newest Bengaluru café on 100 Feet Road in partnership with The Humming Tree. Unlike a smaller-format outlet, the new space brings Subko’s full-scale café experience to Indiranagar.
The café combines Subko’s craft bakehouse, South Asian-inspired brunch, single-origin specialty coffee and fine cacao with The Humming Tree’s established music-focused setting.
The new space has been designed around the musical heritage and cultural diversity of the Indian subcontinent. Its design draws on five elements — Raag, Swara, Laya, Bhava and Taal — representing melody, rhythm, movement, emotion and expression. The venue also pays tribute to artists and cultural figures who have influenced the musical landscape of the subcontinent.
The menu focuses on Indian-origin ingredients, artisanal preparation and contemporary South Asian food. The café is designed to operate across the day, with offerings covering morning coffee and breakfast through brunch, lunch and afternoon visits. As the day progresses, the café will transition into The Humming Tree’s existing music-led and community-focused environment.
