Sterling Holiday Resorts Enters Varanasi with 33-Room Hotel

Sterling Holiday Resorts Limited has entered Varanasi with the launch of Sterling Varanasi, a 33-room property located near the Sankat Mochan Hanuman Temple. The hotel offers easy access to Assi Ghat, Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Banaras Hindu University and the Ganges ghats. It features contemporary rooms, including Premier Rooms with balconies overlooking Kashi, along with RASA KASHI, a vegetarian restaurant inspired by local food traditions.

The property also houses KASHI REGALIA, a fifth-floor glass-roof venue offering 180-degree city views for intimate celebrations and gatherings.

Commenting on the opening, Vikram Lalvani, Managing Director & CEO, Sterling Holiday Resorts (SHRL), said, “Our strategy is to understand why India travels and build around those reasons. Spiritual travel has always been one of India’s most enduring travel motivations; what are changing are the traveller and the experience around the journey.”

“Our vision was to create a contemporary hospitality address that understands why people come to Varanasi and makes that journey easier and more comfortable. Sterling brings the brand reach, operating expertise and distribution strength to establish the property as a trusted hospitality address in the city,” added Arya Vishwajeet Singh, Aditi Group, Owner of Sterling Varanasi.

With Varanasi, Sterling strengthens its spiritual tourism portfolio, which already includes Ayodhya, Haridwar, Rishikesh, Guruvayur, Tiruvannamalai, Pushkar, Madurai and Puri. The launch aligns with its Destination Architect strategy, focusing on travel motivations such as spirituality, culture, wellness and heritage.
