Coffee & Tea Asia 2026, organised by Restaurant India and Franchise India Holdings Ltd., is set to bring together key players from the coffee and tea industry on October 10–11 at the Jio Convention Centre, Mumbai. The two-day platform will feature a B2B exhibition, industry summit and the Bean and Leaf Awards, with a focus on specialty beverages, retail expansion, supply chains, sustainability and technology.
The event comes as Asia’s specialty coffee and tea market continues to expand, creating opportunities across retail, sourcing, equipment, franchising and technology. With much of the new retail growth coming from secondary and emerging markets, the platform aims to connect plantation owners, equipment manufacturers, franchise operators, investors and beverage brand founders.
A key feature of the event will be the Bean and Leaf Awards, which will recognise businesses and individuals contributing to the evolution of Asia’s coffee and tea industry. The awards will spotlight areas including retail and franchise growth, product innovation, sustainability, direct trade and beverage technology, while also bringing attention to both established tea businesses and emerging specialty coffee brands.
The summit will feature industry leaders including Shivam Shahi, Co-Founder and COO, Blue Tokai Coffee Roasters; Abhijeet Anand, Founder and CEO, abCoffee; Akshay Kedia, Co-Founder, Nothing Before Coffee; Laukik Bothara, Founder and CEO, Colombian Brew Coffee; Dhaval Shah and Pathik Shah, Directors at Society Tea and Jivraj 9 Tea Group; and Baninder Singh, Founder, Savorworks Coffee and Chocolate. Speakers from across the region, including Kushan Samararatne of Colombo Coffee Company, Arie Aripin of Jakarta Kopi Premium and Pramod Wakode, Founder and President of the Tea and Coffee Association, will bring perspectives on coffee exports, equipment, education, trade and sustainability.
Beyond the conference, Coffee & Tea Asia aims to create business opportunities for homegrown tea estates, coffee roasters and equipment companies through networking, recognition and business matchmaking. The platform will also focus on connecting brands with franchisees and investors to support expansion across markets.
Sachin Marya, Editorial Director, Restaurant India and Franchise India, said, “Asia is no longer merely a supply base for global coffee and tea; it has become the most dynamic consumer and innovation market in the world. Through Coffee & Tea Asia and the Bean and Leaf Awards, our objective is to honour regional leaders, provide a global showcase for Asian craftsmanship, and build the commercial infrastructure required for homegrown brands to scale across international markets.”
