Stand By Coffee Opens Third Mumbai Café in Juhu

Mumbai-based café brand Stand By Coffee has expanded its city presence with a new outlet in Juhu, following its earlier locations in Worli and Bandra. The opening marks the brand’s third neighbourhood café in Mumbai as it continues to grow through a location-led expansion strategy.

Founded around the concept of neighbourhood cafés for everyday use, Stand By Coffee has built its presence across Mumbai by allowing each outlet to adapt to its respective catchment rather than replicating the same format across locations. The Juhu outlet follows this approach, targeting the neighbourhood’s social and creative customer base while retaining the brand’s focus on coffee, food and casual hospitality.

Coffee remains central to the offering, with the brand working with coffee partners to source beans across different origins and flavour profiles. The menu includes espresso-based beverages and pour-over options, while the beverage range also includes alternatives such as matcha. The Juhu outlet also introduces Ube to the brand’s menu.

The food menu combines all-day breakfast and contemporary comfort food, with offerings including Dan Dan Noodles, Thecha Grilled Cheese, Canteen Chicken Sandwich, Masala Omelette Croiwich, Quinoa Bhel and Kejriwal Dosa.

The brand describes its approach as, “Stand By takes coffee seriously without taking itself too seriously,” reflecting its positioning around specialty coffee without making the format overly formal or complicated.

With the Juhu opening, Stand By Coffee is continuing its Mumbai expansion while maintaining a neighbourhood-focused operating model. The brand remains open to entering additional neighbourhoods and formats as it evaluates its next phase of growth.
