Restaurant India News: The Fern Hotels Expands Footprint with 56th Property in Maharashtra

The Fern Hotels & Resorts has announced the signing of The Fern Residency Baramati, Series by Marriott, further strengthening its presence in Maharashtra. The development takes the group's portfolio in the state to 56 operational and upcoming properties, while its nationwide count now stands at 190 hotels.

The signing reflects the hospitality group's continued focus on expanding into emerging markets that are witnessing rising business activity and increasing travel demand. Baramati, a growing commercial centre in Maharashtra, has increasingly attracted hospitality investments aimed at catering to both corporate and leisure segments.

Scheduled to open in 2027, the upcoming property will feature 56 rooms and suites designed to serve the requirements of both business and leisure guests. The hotel will include an all-day dining restaurant, a signature dining venue and a bar as part of its food and beverage offerings. The property is also being developed with a focus on meetings and events, with dedicated spaces planned for corporate gatherings, conferences and social functions.
