Restaurant India News: Sector 144 Launches ‘The King of Pours’ Craft Beer Programme in Bengaluru

Sector 144 has introduced a new craft beer programme titled 'The King of Pours', signalling the growing role of experience-led concepts in India's evolving brewery and hospitality landscape. Launched on 20th May 2026, the initiative combines craft brewing with entertainment-led programming as operators increasingly look to differentiate themselves beyond food and beverage offerings.

Located in JP Nagar, Sector 144 has developed the programme around Bengaluru's established craft beer culture and neighbourhood-driven social experiences. The new menu features five signature brews that draw inspiration from music while incorporating locally sourced ingredients and contemporary brewing techniques.

The lineup includes Billie's Wit, a Belgian Witbier infused with mosambi peel; Beat It Hefe, a German Hefeweizen characterised by banana and clove notes; Off The Wall Stout, an espresso stout brewed using Chikmagalur Arabica coffee; Dangerous IPA, an American IPA featuring tropical and citrus-forward flavours; and Mango Jam NEIPA, a New England IPA infused with mango.

The launch reflects a broader trend within the hospitality sector, where brewpubs are increasingly investing in curated experiences and community engagement initiatives to drive customer retention and enhance guest interaction. In line with this strategy, Sector 144 has also introduced Wednesday Gig Nights, integrating live music and entertainment into its regular programming.

The company stated that the initiative aligns with its focus on creating hospitality experiences centred on community participation and neighbourhood engagement. By integrating storytelling, entertainment and hyperlocal elements into its beverage offerings, the brand aims to strengthen its positioning within Bengaluru's competitive craft beer market.

Founder Kushal Raj said, "With The King of Pours, we wanted to create more than a beer menu. Every brew has been designed around a feeling, a memory, and a moment people can connect with. From local ingredients to the atmosphere inside the space, the idea was to build something immersive, familiar, and rooted in the culture of JP Nagar and Bengaluru."

As a result, operators are expanding their focus beyond brewing innovation to include experiential programming designed to encourage longer visits and repeat patronage. With the introduction of 'The King of Pours', Sector 144 joins a growing number of hospitality businesses leveraging experiential formats to deepen customer engagement and strengthen their position in Bengaluru's dynamic food and beverage market.
