Restaurant India News: Roseate Hotels & Resorts Expands India Presence With ‘The Roseate Bhimtal’

Roseate Hotels & Resorts, the luxury hospitality arm of the Bird Group, has announced the signing of The Roseate Bhimtal, a boutique lakeside property in the scenic town of Bhimtal.

Scheduled to open in December 2026, the hotel will mark an important milestone for the brand as its first management property in India, signalling the group’s expansion into the country’s rapidly growing luxury leisure hospitality segment. Set amidst the hills of the Kumaon region, the property will feature 30 elegantly designed rooms overlooking the tranquil waters of Bhimtal Lake. The hotel is expected to offer personalised experiences that blend nature, wellness and refined hospitality, creating a retreat designed for relaxation and immersive travel.

The resort will be located about five hours by road from Delhi, 45 minutes from Nainital, and approximately one hour from Pantnagar Airport, making it an accessible escape for urban travellers seeking a quieter, nature-focused getaway. Surrounded by forested hills and the calm waters of Bhimtal Lake, the property is being designed to offer an immersive hospitality experience centred on wellness, privacy and understated luxury. The addition of The Roseate Bhimtal will further strengthen the brand’s presence in Uttarakhand, a region increasingly recognised as a key destination for luxury leisure tourism.

The estate will soon undergo a strategic refurbishment ahead of its planned opening later this year. Once operational, The Roseate Bhimtal is expected to introduce the brand’s signature design-led philosophy and curated dining experiences, while also marking the beginning of Roseate Hotels & Resorts’ next phase of growth through management partnerships.
