Ramee Group of Hotels has signed a new hotel project in Mohali in partnership with Pure Hotels Pvt Ltd, marking its continued expansion across North India. The move follows the group’s recent boutique concept launch in Amritsar and signals a focused push into emerging urban markets with growing travel demand.
The upcoming property in Mohali is aligned with the company’s strategy to build differentiated hospitality offerings in densely populated cities that attract both leisure and corporate travellers. The development reflects a broader industry trend where hospitality players are prioritising high-growth secondary cities with strong infrastructure pipelines.
Saurabh Gahoi, Senior Vice President – India, Ramee Group of Hotels, said, "North India continues to be an important market for our growth strategy, and Mohali’s rapidly evolving business and lifestyle landscape makes it an ideal location for our boutique hospitality concept. Through this property, we aim to offer a well-balanced hospitality experience that combines comfortable stays, engaging dining spaces, and versatile venues for celebrations and events."
Jaspal Singh, Director, Pure Hotels Pvt Ltd, said, “We are delighted to partner with Ramee Group of Hotels, one of the most respected hospitality brands in the lifestyle hospitality space. This collaboration marks an exciting step for us as we work together to bring quality hospitality experiences to emerging markets like Mohali. With a strong vision for growth, we aim to expand our portfolio and develop around 10 hotels over the next 24 months, strengthening our presence across high-potential destinations.”
The planned hotel will include modern guest rooms designed for functionality and comfort, along with multiple food and beverage outlets offering global and contemporary cuisine. The property will also feature banquet and event infrastructure aimed at weddings, corporate events, and social functions, supported by integrated event services and leisure amenities.
Mohali, part of the Tricity cluster alongside Chandigarh and Panchkula, has seen steady infrastructure growth and increased business activity in recent years. Its proximity to the international airport, IT hubs, and educational institutions has positioned it as a key destination for both corporate travel and large-scale events. This shift has made the city increasingly attractive for hospitality investments.
The announcement comes at a time when 2026 is shaping up to be a significant year for Ramee Group of Hotels, with the company accelerating its expansion across key Indian markets while diversifying its hospitality formats to capture evolving consumer demand.
