Restaurant India News: Papa Johns India Launches Delivery on Swiggy and Zomato Amid Bengaluru Expansion

Papa Johns India has expanded its delivery operations to major food delivery platforms Swiggy and Zomato, marking a key step in the brand’s India growth strategy as it scales operations following its market re-entry in late 2025.

The move comes as the pizza chain looks to widen customer access beyond its direct-to-consumer ecosystem, which initially focused on its own mobile application and in-house delivery infrastructure. The aggregator rollout is expected to support customer acquisition and drive additional order volumes across its current store network.

Papa Johns India currently operates 8 outlets in Bengaluru, all of which are available for delivery through the brand’s own app. The company plans to add 30 more outlets in the city during the current financial year as competition intensifies in India’s quick service restaurant and food delivery market.

The company said its integrated delivery setup combines aggregator partnerships with backend systems and internal processes to improve order tracking, delivery speed, and operational consistency. Papa Johns India operates under Ambrosia QSR, which is owned by Pulsar Capital.

Prashant Mehta, Managing Partner, Ambrosia QSR, said, “The launch of aggregator delivery is an important step in scaling Papa Johns in India. Over the past few months, our focus has been on building a strong operational foundation, including store execution, supply chain, and direct delivery capabilities. With aggregators now live, we are well-positioned to expand reach while maintaining control over quality and experience.”

Since relaunching the brand in India, Ambrosia QSR has focused on setting up flagship outlets, strengthening supply chain infrastructure, and building direct ordering and delivery systems. The addition of aggregator delivery is expected to expand customer reach and support a more scalable operating model as the company accelerates store expansion.

The development reflects a wider industry trend where international QSR brands are increasingly adopting hybrid delivery models that combine owned channels with aggregator partnerships to improve market penetration and operational efficiency in India’s growing online food delivery sector.
