
Nestlé is expanding the retail footprint of its premium coffee brand Nespresso in India with the opening of a new boutique at Ambience Mall. The launch marks another step in the company’s strategy to grow its premium coffee business in the country and follows the brand’s first boutique at Select Citywalk Mall in New Delhi, which opened in 2025.
The new store signals the company’s continued investment in India’s premium coffee retail segment, where demand for high-quality in-home coffee experiences is increasing. The Gurugram location has been identified as a key market due to its concentration of urban consumers and a growing interest in specialty coffee consumption.
By opening a boutique in the city, the brand aims to improve accessibility for consumers who are seeking premium coffee machines, capsules, and curated blends for home and workplace use. The move also reflects a broader industry trend in which international coffee brands are expanding experiential retail formats in metropolitan markets.

The boutique has been designed as an experiential retail space where consumers can interact with the brand’s range of coffee machines and blends. The store showcases products from Nespresso’s Original and Professional systems, giving visitors the opportunity to explore different brewing formats and coffee profiles.
Visitors can also participate in guided tastings, learn about flavour characteristics, and receive consultations on selecting machines and capsules suited to home or workplace consumption. Retail formats such as these are increasingly being used by premium beverage brands to build deeper consumer engagement and drive brand familiarity in emerging specialty coffee markets.
Distribution and channel management for the brand in India is supported by Thakral Innovations Pvt. Ltd, which serves as the official distribution partner for both Nespresso and Nestlé India. The company handles the availability of the full range of Nespresso coffee products across retail and other distribution channels.
The Gurugram boutique reflects the company’s broader strategy of strengthening its presence in India’s growing premium coffee segment through experiential retail and expanded accessibility. Industry observers note that as Indian consumers become more familiar with specialty coffee formats, international brands are increasingly investing in physical retail spaces that combine product discovery with coffee education.
