Indian coffee brand Koffelo has announced the launch of NOC (Nitrogen Over Coffee), positioning it as a rapid-format cold brew solution for India’s evolving café, hospitality and retail landscape. The product delivers a ready cold brew experience in five seconds, removing the traditional 8–24 hours required for cold brew preparation.
NOC is offered as a compact 20 ml cold brew shot that is 2.4x concentrated and converts into a full cold brew beverage when mixed with water or milk. Each shot contains 2.4 times more natural caffeine, delivers 15 calories, and is designed to offer lower acidity and reduced bitterness without added sugar. The brand is placing the product as a functional beverage option that fits into existing beverage menus without requiring new equipment or skilled preparation.
The cold brew is produced using Patented Super Drop Technology and uses Brazilian and Ethiopian Arabica beans. According to the company, the extraction process focuses on maintaining flavour consistency, aroma stability and shelf life. Nitrogen infusion, a method more commonly seen in premium beverage formats, is used to improve texture and freshness. When poured, the product releases a hiss and visual cascade, creating a creamy mouthfeel without chemicals or preservatives.
From a hospitality and foodservice standpoint, the product is designed to simplify operations. It does not require brewing systems, waiting time, or technical training, making it adaptable for cafés, hotels, co-working spaces, gyms and quick-service outlets. NOC can be served with hot or cold water, milk, soda or tonic, and can also be integrated into smoothies and non-alcoholic beverage menus.
