Restaurant India News: JW Marriott Pune Names Gyanendu Deo Singh as Marketing and Communications Manager

JW Marriott Pune has announced the appointment of Gyanendu Deo Singh as Marketing and Communications Manager, adding to its leadership team as competition in the premium hospitality segment intensifies across key Indian cities. In this role, Singh will be responsible for the property’s overall marketing and communications agenda, covering digital strategy, brand positioning, and integrated campaigns, with a mandate to strengthen market visibility, increase guest engagement, and support commercial priorities.

Singh joins the Pune property from within the Marriott International portfolio. He most recently served as Cluster Assistant Manager – Marketing at JW Marriott Bengaluru Prestige Golfshire Resort and Spa and Mulberry Shades Bengaluru, having progressed within the organisation over several years. His experience spans planning and execution of marketing activity across digital and offline channels, social media and brand reputation management, coordination with external agencies, annual marketing budget planning, strategic oversight, and partnerships with organisations for events and brand collaborations.

By training, Singh holds a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Studies and Catering Services, an Advanced Diploma in International Hospitality Administration, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Digital Marketing and Communication from the Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad (MICA). Over the course of his career, he has been part of the pre-opening teams for two resort properties and was involved in managing marketing initiatives during the G20 Summit.
