Medusa Beverages announces the launch of its draught beer to its portfolio, offering in Delhi. The move marks a strategic push to strengthen the brand’s presence in the on-trade and HORECA segment, with a focus on delivering fresher pours and a consistent pub-and-bar experience.
The launch comes as urban consumers increasingly gravitate towards social, experience-led drinking formats, making draught beer a key growth opportunity for the brand. Delhi remains Medusa’s strongest and most mature market, contributing approximately 5.4 lakh cases in FY25 and accounting for over 10 per cent market share.
The draught beer rollout is aimed at deepening consumer engagement while increasing Medusa’s relevance across high-traffic on-trade locations. For the new offering, the brand is using Lindr ‘Naked’ taps imported from the Czech Republic, known for their expertise in beer dispensing and ability to deliver a smooth, temperature-controlled pour.
Medusa’s draught beer will be introduced across select hotels, restaurants, cafés, pubs, and bars in Delhi, with plans to expand to around 50 outlets in the coming months.
“Draught beer allows us to elevate how consumers experience Medusa in social settings,” stated Avneet Singh, Founder & CEO, Medusa Beverages. “It gives us greater control over quality at the point of consumption while helping us build stronger engagement within pubs and bars. The introduction of Draught beer was purely to enhance how consumers experience Medusa and to take it to another level, be it fresh pours, better consistency or stronger engagement at the point of consumption. At the heart of our offering is the consumer experience, and by integrating Lindr taps, we ensure every pour is fresh, smooth, and served at the perfect temperature. For us, this launch is as much about consumer experience as it is about strengthening our on-trade and B2B partnerships.”
The company has extended its light beer, Medusa AIR, into the draught format. With an alcohol content of 4.5 per cent, Medusa AIR is positioned as a smooth, easy-drinking beer designed for longer, social drinking occasions.
