Juna Mahal has launched a new wellness facility, The Spa at Juna Mahal, as luxury hospitality operators continue to expand wellness-focused offerings within experiential travel destinations.
Located in Ranthambore, the new wellness sanctuary has been developed as part of the property’s strategy to strengthen its positioning in the premium leisure and wellness hospitality segment. The spa integrates wellness treatments, nature-led experiences, and Rajasthan-inspired therapies within the resort environment.
The facility includes three spa therapy rooms, including a dedicated couple spa suite, along with a separate space for foot massage, manicure, and pedicure services. Additional therapy rooms have also been developed for specialised wellness treatments and holistic therapies.
The property said the wellness concept has been designed around slower and experience-led travel formats that are increasingly gaining traction among luxury leisure travellers. Signature experiences at the spa include the Kansa Thali Ritual Corner, Open-Air Champi Experiences, and Royal Bath Rituals inspired by traditional wellness therapies associated with Rajasthan.
The wellness centre also offers curated programs such as Mindful Nourishment, which combines spa therapies with wellness-focused cuisine, and Afternoon Leisure – Poolside Peace, featuring light refreshments alongside head and foot massage therapies.
Soumik Roy, General Manager at Juna Mahal, Ranthambore, said the objective behind the new wellness facility was to create a hospitality experience where wellness, nature, and heritage-led stays come together for travellers seeking restorative and experience-driven escapes.
The addition of The Spa at Juna Mahal reflects the broader hospitality industry trend of integrating wellness infrastructure into wildlife resorts and leisure destinations as operators diversify guest experiences beyond accommodation and safari-led tourism.
