Harajuku, the brand that first brought a refined Japanese dining experience to India, has introduced its latest concept — Harajuku Bakehouse — at M3M 65th Avenue, Sector 65, Gurugram. The new outlet marks the brand’s fourth location, designed as a compact and contemporary extension of Harajuku Tokyo Café.
Spread across approximately 830 sq. ft., the Bakehouse offers a curated selection of Japanese-inspired desserts, beverages, and light meals. The setting blends clean aesthetics with understated warmth, creating an inviting space that mirrors Harajuku’s Tokyo sensibilities.
To mark the launch, Harajuku Bakehouse hosted a “Matcha Rave,” an interactive evening featuring the brand’s signature offerings, upbeat DJ performances, a Polaroid photo corner, and engaging activities such as Matcha Pong — offering guests an immersive taste of Japanese culture.
The menu features Harajuku’s well-known Japanese Cotton Cheesecake, Jiggly Pancake, Puru Puru Cat Pudding, Manga Macarons, and Chocolate Bon Bons. On the savoury side, guests can enjoy Gyozas, Salads, and Bento Bowls. The beverage list includes the Iced Matcha Latte, Basil Matcha Lemonade, Iced Hazelnut Hojicha Latte, and Umeshu-style Matcha-gato (Matcha Affogato), along with premium teas such as Jasmine Pearls and Sencha.
Gaurav Kanwar, Founder, Harajuku, said, “The Bakehouse format represents a natural progression. It allows us to concentrate on precision, whether in technique, presentation, or service, while keeping the experience effortless for our guests. Gurugram has always responded to our cafés with discernment and curiosity, and this opening is built on that dialogue. We have enhanced our operations, strengthened our supply chains, and designed an environment that reflects how the modern diner values authenticity, pace, and aesthetics in equal measure.”
Following the success of its first Bakehouse in Vasant Vihar, the brand continues to evolve its model for India’s urban markets, focusing on artisanal production with efficient service. The Gurugram outlet will offer dine-in, takeaway, and delivery through leading platforms, maintaining the same standards that define the brand’s craftsmanship. Operating daily from 8.00 am to 11.00 pm, Harajuku Bakehouse aims to bring an authentic slice of Tokyo’s dessert culture to Gurugram’s growing retail and dining landscape.
