Restaurant India News: Grand Continent Hotels Launches New Property in Gurugram, Expands to NCR

Grand Continent Hotels Limited has announced the launch of a new property in Gurugram, marking its entry into the Delhi NCR market. The development represents a strategic move as the company expands beyond its established base in South India and targets growth in North Indian markets.

The property is located in Sector 45, Greenwood City, and is positioned to cater to demand from corporate travellers, long-stay guests, and domestic leisure segments. Its location offers access to key business districts and connectivity points, aligning with demand patterns in Gurugram, which continues to function as a major corporate hub.

With this addition, Grand Continent Hotels Limited has scaled its portfolio to 30 properties across 17+ cities with over 1,800 keys. The company’s expansion strategy has focused on high-demand urban markets, standardised service delivery, and operational efficiency, targeting both business and leisure travellers.

The Gurugram hotel features 38 rooms, including 20 Premium Rooms with Balcony and 18 Deluxe Rooms. The rooms are equipped with standard amenities such as high-speed Wi-Fi, smart TV, minibar, and work desk. The property includes a multi-cuisine restaurant, Flavor’s, along with in-room dining, a fitness centre, and concierge services. It also offers banquet and conference facilities, including Blossom-1 and Blossom-2, catering to meetings and small-format events. The hotel is located 500 metres from Unitech Cyber Park and 1 km from HUDA City Centre Metro.

Ramesh Siva, Founder and Managing Director, Grand Continent Hotels Limited, said, “The launch in Gurugram marks an important step in our growth journey. Having established a strong foundation in South India, we are now focused on expanding across key North Indian markets including Delhi NCR, Ayodhya, Jaipur, Varanasi, Somnath and Rameswaram. Strengthening our presence in the city further, we have also signed a 56-key hotel, strategically located near the Google office in Gurugram. Over the next two years, we plan to add 15 hotels across these key cities as we continue to build a scalable and sustainable hospitality network.”

The entry into NCR aligns with rising demand for organised mid-market hospitality in metro and emerging urban clusters. The company has indicated that its expansion will be driven by asset-light models, partnerships, and a focus on micro-markets with consistent demand, enabling faster scale and improved capital efficiency.

Founded in 2011 by Ramesh Siva, the company operates across multiple cities in India and has an international presence in the USA and Dubai. Its portfolio includes locations such as Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Goa, Tirupati, Mahabalipuram, Dwarka, Udaipur, and Gurugram.

The Gurugram launch signals a broader push by Grand Continent Hotels Limited to build a pan-India presence, with a focus on consistency, accessibility, and value-driven offerings in the mid-market segment.
