Restaurant India News: Espire Hospitality Expands Country Inn Portfolio with New Hotels in Goa, Katra and Patna

Espire Hospitality Limited has expanded its Country Inn Hotels & Resorts portfolio with the launch of three new properties in Goa, Katra, and Patna, as part of a broader growth strategy across multiple travel segments. The development follows the company’s earlier announcement of three additional openings in Rishikesh and Dehradun, taking the total to six launches within a single month.

The expansion reflects a targeted approach to diversify presence across leisure, pilgrimage, and urban markets, while strengthening brand visibility in high-demand locations.

The company has entered the Goa market with a 44-key property located approximately 5 minutes from Calangute Beach. The hotel includes an all-day dining restaurant, Ruhani, and a poolside bar, Liquid, along with a swimming pool and accommodation offerings positioned for leisure travellers. Its location provides access to North Goa’s beach and social circuits, aligning with demand for short-stay and vacation-led travel.

In Katra, the company has added a 36-room hotel located on Jammu Road, near Fountain Chowk, which serves as a key access point for pilgrims visiting the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Temple. The property includes an all-day dining restaurant, Rasalika, and is positioned to cater to high-frequency, short-duration stays linked to religious travel. The location allows proximity to both local attractions and pilgrimage routes, supporting operational efficiency in a high-turnover segment.

Espire Hospitality has introduced its Country Inn Smart Stays format in Patna with a 50-room property situated in the Fraser Road area. The hotel is positioned close to commercial districts and local landmarks including Mahabir Temple, ISKCON Temple, Golghar, and Bihar Museum. The property includes a dining outlet, Kapil Dev’s Elevens, and multiple event spaces such as two banquet halls and a boardroom, targeting both business and social event demand.

Akhil Arora, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Espire Hospitality Limited, said, “These openings across Goa, Katra, and Patna after our 3 recent launches in Uttarakhand is a thoughtful step to deepen our presence across India. With six openings in a month and tapping into the unique markets - from leisure-driven destinations like Goa to high-demand pilgrimage hubs such as Katra and rapidly growing urban centres like Patna, we are strengthening our portfolio with formats that are relevant to diverse travellers. This approach not only broadens our footprint but also enables us to deliver experiences that are aligned with strong emerging travel trends.”

The expansion highlights a continued focus on segmented growth within India’s hospitality sector, where operators are increasingly deploying differentiated formats based on location-specific demand. Leisure destinations, pilgrimage hubs, and tier-2 urban centres are emerging as parallel growth drivers, prompting brands to scale portfolios that cater to varied consumer needs while optimising occupancy and revenue streams.
