Restaurant India News: Circa 11 Introduces Strategic Brunch Format to Boost Weekend Footfall

Circa 11 has introduced a structured Sunday brunch service available exclusively from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., positioning it as an extended dining window that merges breakfast and lunch into a single, slow-paced format. The move reflects a growing industry focus on daypart optimisation and higher weekend table occupancy.

The concept moves away from fixed breakfast templates and conventional brunch menus that rely heavily on predictable staples. Instead, the restaurant has designed a menu that aligns with its broader operational philosophy. As stated, the approach is “food shaped by rhythm rather than category.”

The menu opens with structured morning plates such as the Breakfast Bowl, positioned as a balanced option, and a Thai Omelette served with sticky black rice, fermented chilli peanut sauce, and greens. Stuffed French Toast with tart fruit custard, berry compote, and vanilla chantilly addresses the demand for indulgent offerings while maintaining portion control.

As service transitions deeper into the afternoon, the menu expands into globally influenced dishes. Pad Kra Pao is presented on puff pastry with scrambled tofu, lemongrass, kaffir lime, chilli, and a fried egg. Elote combines grilled corn with pico de gallo and chipotle crema. Jackfruit Tacos, paired with salsa de árbol, pickled onions, and jalapeños, cater to plant-based diners without isolating them from the main menu experience.

Beverage strategy remains central to the format. The coffee program includes specialty options such as Buttercream Latte, Orange Mont Blanc, and Cold Brew Tepaché. Cocktail offerings include Still Typing, made with gin, Jägermeister, honey, and lime, alongside The Devil Wears Tabasco, a zero-proof alternative built on berries, green tea, cranberry, and spice. A Breakfast Smoothie with granola, banana, soaked oats, coconut powder, milk, and cinnamon strengthens the health-focused portfolio.

Dessert selections such as Olive Oil Financier and Chocolate Mille-Feuille complete the experience with lighter portions suited for extended dining.

Circa 11’s Sunday model reflects a strategic shift toward flexible meal structures, beverage-led revenue, and extended dwell time, aligning with evolving urban dining behaviour.
