Restaurant India News: Blisswater Expands to Haryana with Yaksha Whisky and Salty Nerd Vodka

Blisswater Industries has expanded its distribution network with the launch of its premium spirits portfolio in Haryana, in partnership with H S Oberoi Spirits. The rollout includes Yaksha Whisky and Salty Nerd Vodka, marking the company’s entry into one of North India’s key premium consumption markets.

The expansion is aligned with rising demand for premium alcoholic beverages across retail and hospitality channels, particularly in urban nightlife and on-premise consumption segments. Haryana has emerged as a high-growth market driven by evolving consumer preferences and increased spending on premium offerings.

Yaksha Whisky is positioned as a blended product combining 5 year aged Scotch malts from the Scottish Highlands with 3 year aged Indian malt spirits, along with botanical elements. The brand has received international recognition, including a Silver Medal at the USA Spirits Ratings 2024 and a Silver Award at the IGC International Spirits Challenge 2025 in Hong Kong, reflecting its positioning in the premium whisky segment.

Alongside this, Salty Nerd Vodka has been introduced as a flavour-led product targeting younger consumers. The vodka is distilled from grains and charcoal-filtered, with an alcohol content of 42.8 percent ABV. It is available in four variants in Haryana: Classic, Salted Caramel, Mint, and Cola, catering to both retail consumption and on-premise demand across bars and lounges.
