Pullman Chennai Anna Salai Names Anuradha Venkatachalam General Manager

Pullman Chennai Anna Salai has appointed Anuradha Venkatachalam as its General Manager, effective 1 October 2026. She brings over 16 years of international hospitality experience across the Middle East and Southeast Asia, covering commercial strategy, marketing, hotel operations, pre-openings and brand launches.

Venkatachalam began her hospitality career at Crowne Plaza Bahrain in 2010 and subsequently held leadership positions with JW Marriott Kuwait and IHG in Oman and Singapore. Most recently, she served as Hotel Captain at Moxy Bengaluru Airport Prestige Tech Cloud, where she led the pre-opening and launch of the first Moxy hotel in South Asia.

At Pullman Chennai, she will focus on commercial performance, brand positioning and the hotel’s food and beverage offering. Her responsibilities will also include developing teams and strengthening the property’s art-inspired brand identity across guest experiences.

Her experience across international hotel brands and markets includes commercial, marketing and operational leadership, as well as hotel openings and brand launches. At Pullman Chennai, her role will combine business performance priorities with team development and the execution of the property’s brand strategy.
