Popeyes Takes Punjab Restaurant Count to 9 With Latest Expansion

Popeyes is expanding its restaurant network in Punjab with new locations at 3B2 Food Spot in Mohali and Nexus MBD Neopolis Mall in Ludhiana, while its Patiala outlet at Leela Bhawan is scheduled to open soon. The expansion takes the brand’s restaurant footprint in the state to 9.

The latest openings strengthen Popeyes’ presence across three key Punjab markets as the brand continues to expand its India restaurant network. The Punjab growth has been supported by demand for its chicken menu, with the Chicken Sandwich emerging as a popular choice among consumers in the state. The brand said its 6 Bold International flavors of Wings have also recorded the highest repeat trials among consumers in Punjab.

Popeyes has also used a digital-first campaign to build local engagement, collaborating with Punjabi artists Babbal Rai and Aarushi Sharma under its “Punjab Vich Chhaa Gaye Oye!” campaign.
