LIZZU Opens in Lodhi Colony With All-Day Café and Wine Bar Format

Lodhi Colony has added a new all-day dining outlet with the opening of LIZZU at No. 18, Lodhi Colony Market. The café and wine bar operates from 9:00 AM to 1:00 AM, covering breakfast, lunch, dinner and late-night beverage occasions.

LIZZU’s offering combines freshly baked breads, specialty coffee, wines, cocktails and food influenced by Sicilian and Levantine cuisine. The menu includes breakfast dishes such as shakshuka and Çılbır, along with in-house manakish, hummus, muhammara with warm saj, fresh pasta and open-fire grilled chicken shawarma.

The outlet follows a cook-to-order model, with dishes prepared after orders are placed rather than held for service. Bread is baked throughout the day, while pasta is rolled fresh each morning.

Its beverage programme includes nine yuzu-based lemonades, with the fruit cut, cured and squeezed to order. The drinks menu also features an espresso programme, wines served by the glass under nitrogen and made-to-order cocktails.

“ We wanted LIZZU to feel like the kind of place you discover and then keep coming back to. The inspiration comes from different parts of the Mediterranean and the Levant, but our philosophy is simple fresh ingredients, proper cooking and food made when you order it,” says Ruchi Rajpal, Founder, LIZZU.

“From rolling out pasta fresh each morning and baking breads throughout the day to squeezing our yuzu lemonades to order, there is a sense of craft behind everything we serve. We hope LIZZU becomes a warm, all-day neighbourhood space where the food, drinks and atmosphere invite you to stay a little longer,” she adds.

With its extended operating hours and all-day format, the Lodhi Colony outlet is positioned to serve multiple dining occasions while building its identity around fresh preparation, bakery production and Mediterranean and Levantine-inspired food.
