La Panthera has opened its second Mumbai outlet at the 1930s Eros building in Churchgate, following its BKC restaurant. The new 80-seater is led by Chef Manuel Olveira and founder Mickee Tuljapurkar and has been developed as a separate interpretation of the brand for South Bombay.
The restaurant follows Chef Manuel’s “comfort food, refined” approach, with a European menu influenced by his Spanish background and experience across European kitchens. The offering includes Spanish pintxos and tapas, 48-hour fermented pizzas, pastas, mains and desserts, with Spanish ingredients used across the menu.
The new outlet also places greater focus on Spanish dining and drinking culture. Its Pintxos menu and Aperitivo Hour runs from 5:30–7 PM, followed by dinner and a late-night menu featuring Spanish bar bites and pizzas.
The cocktail programme applies contemporary techniques such as clarification, infusions, reductions and house-made ingredients to familiar drinks, with the focus on flavour.
La Panthera Eros adds another European-focused dining and bar format to Churchgate’s restaurant market, while extending the brand’s Mumbai presence beyond its BKC location.
