Haldiram's has expanded its retail and dining footprint with the launch of a new restaurant in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. Located at WP Arena, Hot Stuff Chauraha, Lal Bahadur Shastri Marg, the outlet was inaugurated by Er. Harshvardhan Bajpayee, MLA, Prayagraj North, in the presence of customers, dignitaries and members of the local community.
The launch is part of the brand's ongoing expansion strategy focused on emerging markets beyond India's metro cities and aligns with its "Acche Din Aa Rahe Hai!" campaign.
Prayagraj has emerged as an important market due to its growing tourism, infrastructure development and increasing demand for organised dining experiences. Known for its cultural and religious significance, the city attracts millions of visitors annually and continues to strengthen its position as an educational, administrative and commercial hub in Uttar Pradesh.
The new outlet has been designed to cater to families, travellers and group dining occasions. It offers Haldiram's portfolio of Indian sweets, namkeens, regional snacks, chaats, complete meals and beverages under one roof.
The expansion reflects a broader trend within India's food service sector, where established restaurant and packaged food brands are increasingly targeting Tier-II and emerging cities to drive growth. With rising consumer spending and organised retail penetration, markets such as Prayagraj are becoming key destinations for hospitality and dining brands.
Haldiram's stated that the new outlet reinforces its commitment to expanding across high-potential markets while maintaining its focus on traditional Indian flavours and hospitality. The Prayagraj opening marks another step in the company's nationwide expansion plans as it continues to strengthen its presence across India's evolving dining landscape.
