Himmaleh Spirits Launches Darma Whisky and Hudka Himalayan Vodka in Delhi and Haryana

Himmaleh Spirits has expanded its craft spirits portfolio with the launch of Darma, a premium Himalayan blended whisky, and Hudka, India's first Himalayan vodka. Both products are now available in Delhi and Haryana.

The launch follows international recognition for the company's existing brands. Jin Jiji was named World's Best Gin and Spirit of the Year at the London Spirits Competition 2025, while Bandarful was awarded World's Best Liqueur at the USA Spirits Ratings 2025.

Inspired by Uttarakhand's Darma Valley, Darma is a premium blended whisky that combines Indian whisky, select Scottish malts and bourbon influences. Bottled at 42.8 percent ABV, the whisky offers notes of Madagascan vanilla, coconut and dried fruit, with a medium-bodied palate featuring caramel and gentle spice.

Ansh Khanna, Co-Founder, Himmaleh Spirits, said, "India's whisky market is one of the fastest growing in the world, valued at nearly USD 19.2 billion in 2024 and projected to almost double by 2030. While whisky remains India's most loved spirits category, what excites us is how consumers are redefining quality. They're increasingly choosing craftsmanship over convention and stories over status. Darma is our response to that shift- a blended whisky designed for everyday enjoyment, yet crafted with the same attention to detail that defines everything we do at Himmaleh Spirits."

Hudka takes its name from the traditional Hudka drum played by Kumaon's Hurkiyas storytellers. Distilled using Himalayan spring water and locally sourced sativa rice in traditional copper pot stills, the vodka is bottled at 40 percent ABV and offers subtle citrus notes with a smooth, spice-led finish.

Samarth Prasad, Co-Founder, Himmaleh Spirits, said, "India's vodka market touched US $3.18 billion in 2024 and continues to grow at a projected 7% CAGR through 2030. Yet, despite the scale, true craft vodkas are rare. With Hudka, we're placing India, and specifically the Himalayas, on the global vodka map. It's not just about entering the market, but about defining a category shaped by place, purity, and precision."

With the addition of Darma and Hudka, Himmaleh Spirits continues to expand its portfolio across whisky, vodka, gin, rum and liqueur categories.
