GOPIZZA Rebrands as GTGO, Expands From Pizza Into Korean Food and Beverage

GOPIZZA has rebranded as GTGO as the company moves from a single-category pizza business to a broader Korean food and beverage platform. The rebrand comes as the company marks its 5th anniversary and follows its expansion from a single food truck launched in South Korea in 2016 to operations across 11 countries.

GTGO stands for "Good To Go" and also refers to "Great Tech, Great Operation" and "Global Team, Global Opportunity", reflecting the company’s focus on technology-led operations and international expansion.

India is a key market in the company’s multi-brand strategy. Since entering the country five years ago, GTGO has expanded to over 65 stores across three brands: GOPIZZA, Gochujang and Dalkomi. While GOPIZZA focuses on pizza, Gochujang operates in the Korean street food segment and Dalkomi focuses on Korean desserts.

The three brands form GTGO’s K-Food Platform strategy, allowing the company to operate across multiple Korean food categories rather than relying on a single product format. The approach combines Korean food offerings with QSR-style operating models.

Mahesh Reddy, Co-founder & CEO of GTGO, said, “This multi-brand approach, tailored to individual markets rather than built around a single global brand, is now central to GTGO's strategy overseas. With a population of 1.4 billion and one of the world's fastest-growing food service sectors, India serves as a key proving ground for this model, one that could shape how GTGO expands into other markets.”

Technology remains a central part of GTGO’s operating model. The company has developed proprietary food technology, including conveyor ovens and compact kiosk systems, which it has refined over a decade of operations across its markets. Globally, GTGO’s pizza technology is deployed across more than 1,600 stores through partnerships with retail chains including GS25 and CGV.

The rebrand also changes the company’s competitive positioning in India. While GOPIZZA operates in the pizza category alongside established international brands such as Domino's and Pizza Hut, GTGO is positioning itself as a broader technology-led Korean F&B company with multiple food formats.

Lim Jae-won, Global CEO & Founder of GTGO, said, "This is an important milestone in expanding the business beyond what was previously confined to GOPIZZA, and in advancing as a global brand built on food technology. We look forward to continued support as we grow on a wider stage."

GTGO plans to develop new business models alongside its existing foodservice operations, including in India. The company is also exploring B2B opportunities involving its food technology and kiosk systems for external brands and retail partners.

The rebrand therefore marks a shift in GTGO’s operating strategy, with its India business moving from a pizza-led model towards a wider Korean food platform supported by multiple brands and proprietary technology.
