Dhaba Estd. 1986 Opens New Restaurant in Kanpur's Civil Lines

Azure Hospitality's flagship North Indian restaurant brand, Dhaba Estd. 1986, has expanded its footprint in North India with the opening of a new outlet in Civil Lines, Kanpur. The company said the restaurant has received an encouraging response from diners since its launch.

The Kanpur restaurant offers the brand's signature North Indian menu, including Dal Dhaba, Balti Meat, Galouti Kebabs, tandoor specialities, handcrafted Indian breads and regional favourites. The outlet also serves Dhaba Estd. 1986's recently introduced Desi Chinese menu, featuring Indo-Chinese dishes inspired by familiar flavours.

The restaurant was launched under the leadership of Chef Kartik, Regional Brand Chef – Dhaba Estd. 1986, who managed the pre-opening operations, including kitchen planning, menu execution, recipe standardisation, chef training, equipment planning and operational readiness.

Chef Kartik said, "Kanpur has welcomed us with tremendous warmth, and the response since opening has been extremely encouraging. Our vision was to create a restaurant that stays true to the soul of India's legendary dhabas while delivering the consistency and quality expected from a modern hospitality brand."

Chef Kartik brings over 15 years of culinary experience and has been involved in menu development, restaurant openings, recipe standardisation and culinary training across the brand's portfolio. The Kanpur opening is part of Azure Hospitality's broader expansion strategy for Dhaba Estd. 1986 as it continues to strengthen its presence in India's casual dining segment by combining traditional North Indian cuisine with contemporary dining formats.
