Courtyard by Marriott Mumbai International Airport has appointed Rohin Thankappan as its new Executive Chef, reinforcing its culinary leadership as the hotel continues to strengthen its food and beverage operations.

Chef Rohin brings over 18 years of experience across hospitality properties in India and international markets. In his new role, he will oversee the hotel's restaurants, banqueting operations and in-room dining while focusing on menu development, kitchen operations and team management.

The appointment aligns with the hotel's strategy of enhancing its dining offerings through operational efficiency, culinary innovation and guest-focused experiences.

Throughout his career, Chef Rohin has led culinary teams across business hotels and resort destinations. His professional experience includes participation in Michelin chef pop-ups and international culinary showcases, contributing to his expertise in both classical and contemporary cooking techniques.

He also advocates sustainable kitchen operations through responsible sourcing, seasonal ingredients and waste reduction while maintaining Marriott International's food quality and safety standards.
