Mumbai-based 14°41° Pizzeria has opened a new flagship restaurant near Hutatma Chowk in Fort, returning to the neighbourhood where the brand began in 2016. The launch comes a decade after its first restaurant opened in Kala Ghoda and takes its Mumbai network to 17 outlets.
Spread across approximately 2,000 sq. ft., the new restaurant has seating capacity for 60–70 guests. Its layout includes a fully glazed kitchen, allowing diners to view the preparation of pizza dough and other dishes.
The brand’s pizza offering is based on Italian-milled soft wheat 00 flour developed by Italian pizza chef Renato Viola, who also works on its menu and culinary direction. The dough is rested for 24 hours before being hand-stretched and baked in a wood-fired oven. The same flour is used across the restaurant’s pizza dough and breads.
Krishna Gupta, Founder and Director, 14°41° Pizzeria, said, “Fort is where our journey began, so returning here ten years later feels particularly special,” says “What started with a trip to Naples and a passion for authentic Italian pizza has grown into a brand with 17 outlets across Mumbai. With this flagship, we’re celebrating how far we’ve come while staying true to what inspired us in the first place.”
The new outlet also introduces an expanded menu beyond pizzas. Starters include Mushroom Soup, Goat Cheese & Beetroot Salad, Truffle Mushroom Flatbread and Chicken Arancini. New pizza options include Truffle Forest, Pesto Burrata and Diavola Chicken Pepperoni, alongside Goat Cheese & Caramelised Onion and Chicken Mortadella & Artichoke.
The menu also covers pastas and risottos, including Coconut Milk Gnocchi, Spinach & Ricotta Cannelloni, Spaghetti Chicken Parmigiana and Chicken & Sun-Dried Tomato Risotto. Italian sandwiches made with focaccia and multigrain panini breads add another category to the offering. Desserts include Tiramisu, Banoffee Pie and Blueberry Cheesecake, while the all-day coffee menu combines Italian and Indian options.
Chef Renato Viola said, “Exceptional pizza begins long before it reaches the oven. It starts with the quality of the flour, the preparation of the dough and the patience to let it develop,” says, “We created Extraordinary to bring that consistency and craftsmanship to every 14°41° pizza. At Fort, guests can experience this process firsthand and discover the difference in every bite.”
Vandini Gupta, Vice President, 14°41° Pizzeria, said, “Over the past decade, our guests have played an integral role in shaping the brand’s evolution,” says “We’ve seen a growing appreciation for authentic Italian dining experiences, and our new Fort flagship reflects that shift. From an expanded menu to a more immersive setting and an all-day coffee offering, every detail has been thoughtfully considered to create an experience that feels distinctly Italian, yet unmistakably 14°41°.”
The Fort opening adds a larger-format restaurant and an expanded food and beverage offering to the brand’s Mumbai operations as it continues to build on its original presence in the city.
