Coming from the small town of Muzaffarpur, Bihar, to the prestigious kitchens of Hyatt
Centric Juhu, Mumbai, Chef Rahul Shrivastava's culinary odyssey is a testament to the power
of passion and perseverance. Belonging to a place and family where dreaming big wasn’t the
norm and noble pursuits like becoming an engineer, doctor, and lawyer were encouraged, Chef
Rahul dared to dream big and laid out the path to follow his true calling. Initially, with
intentions of soaring through the skies as an Air Force pilot, he found his way, as fated to
the realms of culinary delight and became a master of the culinary arts, mastering the art
of Japanese cuisine, Pan-Asian and Global cuisine like no other. Rahul's path may have taken
unexpected turns, but he was destined to be a part of the world of food and hospitality.
Armed with determination and a degree from IHM Hyderabad, he embarked on his gastronomic
adventure. Driven by an insatiable curiosity for the art of flavour, Rahul's culinary
journey began soon after graduation, securing an internship at the prestigious 360°at Oberoi
Hotels, in the heart of bustling New Delhi, where he honed his skills and craved more. But
his journey didn't stop there.
