Nitin has completed more than 30 years in the Food & Beverage Industry. Having worked as a
Chef with Taj Hotels and Hotel Oberoi’s kitchen in the initial 8 years of his career, he was
inspired to open his first dessert store Mel ng Moments in 1992.
The next three milestones that followed were a continental cuisine inspired Pot Pourri, a
kerb side cafe which soon became a landmark in Bandra West. It witnessed the most popular
Bollywood and the who’s who of Mumbai. The first outlet in 1994 to serve Pizza, Pasta and
Lemon Iced Tea in a cafe style.
Before enjoying Pot Pourri success at the same me an Asian Oriental cuisine restaurant
open-end right next to it called Lemongrass Café. Nitin Tandon personally curated each
recipe that also witnessed love and what today we call it as loyalty towards the brand.
Chef Nitin Tandon then moved to international standard, state of the art fine-dine resto-bar
called Seijo and Soul Dish. A Japanese inspired food and theme this restaurant elevated the
standard of dining winning almost all awards that year from food to drinks to ambience.
