With over 20 new restaurants due to open in 2026-2027, Mathur occupy one of the most consequential roles in Indian gastronomy today.
He comes with over 25 years of hospitality leadership experience and has been instrumental in helping Old World Hospitality & EHV properties form a single iconic restaurant into one of India's most respected multi-brand hospitality companies. Under his operational leadership, all restaurants have consistently earned recognition and awards and also secured international acclaim.
Mathur’s career is rooted in the discipline of classical hotel & restaurant management. A graduate of IHM Pusa, New Delhi, one of India’s most rigorous hotel management institutions, he entered the industry at a time when the concept of ‘fine dining’ in India was still being written.
