Nikhil K. Rochlani is a seasoned restaurateur, hospitality visionary, and Group Managing
Partner at Butterfly & Kyma Ltd., with over 22 years of hands-on experience in building,
scaling, and consulting hospitality brands across India.
He began his journey in the industry at a young age and was already running his own ventures
— Cerveza and Level One by the age of 22. His early success paved the way for a dynamic
career that has spanned operational leadership, concept development, brand building, and
multi-city expansions.
Nikhil held leadership positions at Balu Hospitality, where as Director of Operations, he
played a key role in scaling popular brands like Loco Chino, Asado, and Zouk. He later
served as Managing Partner at a One hospitality consultancy, managing acclaimed brands such
as Burn – Kitchen & Malt Room. Today, as Group Managing Partner at Shiv Sagar Foods &
Resorts Pvt. Ltd., Nikhil oversees the strategic direction and operations of several iconic
restaurant brands, including Butterfly High, Kyma, The Bigg Small Café + Bar, and Mahesh
Lunch Home, while continuing to lead large-scale consultancy efforts for upcoming projects
nationwide.
Recognised for his consumer-centric approach, innovative event-led formats, and ability to
fuse global and Indian culinary influences, Nikhil’s work reflects a unique mix of
creativity, operational excellence, and cultural relevance. He has successfully brought
