With over 18 years of experience in luxury hospitality, Devidyuti Ghosh is one of the key
leaders driving Marriott International’s expansion across South Asia. As Director of Hotel
Openings, she leads the successful launch and conversion of managed and franchised hotels,
ensuring seamless execution from pre-opening strategy to operational excellence while
supporting the company's ambitious growth plans in the region.
Having progressed through leadership roles across front office, rooms, operations, and
general management, Devidyuti brings deep operational expertise and a strong understanding
of hotel performance. Before taking on her current regional role, she served as General
Manager of Mulberry Shades Bengaluru Nandi Hills, following senior operational positions at
The Westin Goa, JW Marriott Kolkata, and JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu. Her career also includes
significant tenures with Taj Hotels and Accor, where she built a strong foundation in guest
experience and service excellence.
In her current position, Devidyuti has been instrumental in opening landmark Marriott
properties across India and South Asia, including milestone developments that reflect the
company's rapid regional expansion. She is recognised for her ability to lead complex hotel
openings, manage brand conversions, and build high-performing teams while maintaining
Marriott's global standards of quality and guest satisfaction.
