Chef Beena Noronha is the Executive Chef & Co-founder, Saltae Hospitality. She is a Mumbai-based Executive Chef and culinary entrepreneur known for precision, brand-building acumen, and cross-cultural menu design. After a 16-year career in fashion, she formally trained at a two-Michelin-star restaurant in France, bringing discipline, artistry, and technical finesse into her food philosophy. She honed her craft at OPA Kipos and St. Regis Mumbai before leading the culinary direction at Gigi, Lyla, and Scarlett House. Her approach is modern, grounded in global influences yet deeply attuned to Indian sensibilities.
As Co-founder of Saltae Hospitality, she continues to build distinctive, design-forward restaurants that balance creativity, operations, and storytelling. Beena has also been featured in Discovery Plus and TLC’s Roots of My Platter Season 3, Barbie India’s You Can Be Anything campaign, and is the recipient of multiple awards including Best Woman Chef of the Year 2024 (Restaurant India) and 2025 (WICA).
