Afshaa Rajqotwala is a Chef & Co-Founder of Pomodoro, Mumbai. Rajqotwala’s journey with food began as a young girl experimenting in her family kitchen. This love for cooking grew into a lifelong passion that she pursued academically, earning a degree in International Hospitality and Tourism Management from Queen Margaret University, and later refining her skills with a specialization in Culinary Arts from the prestigious Le Cordon Bleu London.
Afshaa’s career started with management projects across hospitality verticals, including hotel operations, catering, and hospitality recruitment. However, her true calling lay in the kitchen, where her creativity and flair for flavors came alive. Her culinary talents earned her recognition, including a celebrated win on the competitive cooking show Chef vs Fridge.
Her journey also extended behind the scenes in the food and media industry, where she played a pivotal role in curating and managing food concepts for shows such as Health in 100, Northern Tadka, Memoirs with Hemant Oberoi, and Curries and More. These projects allowed her to blend her culinary expertise with her ability to create engaging food stories for a wider audience.
As a consultant, Afshaa has worked with numerous restaurants and food ventures, bringing her deep understanding of menu development and operational strategies to the table. Her expertise lies in crafting unique dining experiences that reflect her clients’ visions while maintaining a focus on authenticity and quality.
