Tilaknagar Industries Ltd. (TI) has increased its stake in premium non-alcoholic cocktail mixer brand Bartisans to approximately 41.45 percent through a fresh investment of Rs 2 crore. With this investment, the company's total investment in Bartisans has reached Rs 10 crore.
Founded in 2021 by Jovita and Jordan Mascarenhas, Bartisans offers a portfolio of 17 ready-to-pour cocktail mixers targeting India's growing at-home beverage market. The brand follows a digital-first strategy and is available across Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy Instamart, Amazon Now and its direct-to-consumer platform.
Tilaknagar Industries first invested in Bartisans in 2024 to support the brand's expansion in India's premium mixer category. The earlier investment was used to increase manufacturing capacity, strengthen product development and expand its quick-commerce presence.
The latest funding will be used to support product development, expand international market access and scale the business. Tilaknagar Industries said it will also continue to provide strategic guidance, distribution support and operational expertise.
Ameya Deshpande, Chief Strategy Officer, Tilaknagar Industries, said, "Bartisans stood out because of the strength of its founders, the white-space opportunity they identified within India's premium beverage landscape, and the strategic synergies we saw with our own capabilities. Tilaknagar aims to partner with entrepreneurs building the future of India's beverage industry, and our role extends well beyond capital. As we continue this partnership, we are excited to help Bartisans scale up while preserving the entrepreneurial spirit that has made the brand successful."
Jovita Mascarenhas, Co-Founder of Bartisans, said, "As founders, we were looking for a partner who understood the realities of building a beverage brand over the long term. House of TI brought vast category knowledge, distribution expertise and an entrepreneurial mindset, while allowing us to retain the agility and independence that define Bartisans. Together, we have built strong momentum, including the successful launch of Golden Hour, the bespoke mixer created for Monarch Legacy Edition Brandy, and we're excited to explore more product collaborations with House of TI across its luxury portfolio."
