TATA Starbucks has opened its first Starbucks Reserve store in South India, choosing Hyderabad's Jubilee Hills for the launch of the premium coffee format. The outlet becomes the sixth Starbucks Reserve store in India and will welcome customers from 1st August, 2026, operating between 7 am and 12 am.
Located in a restored bungalow in Jubilee Hills, the coffeehouse has been designed to showcase Starbucks Reserve coffees, featuring small-lot beans sourced from different coffee-growing regions and brewed through specialised preparation methods. The pet-friendly outlet also expands Starbucks' premium coffee offering in one of its strongest Indian markets.
The Hyderabad location introduces an exclusive menu featuring artisanal beverages and food offerings, including Danish pastries, croissant sandwiches, sourdough toasts and signature non-alcoholic drinks such as the Jamaican Stardust, Espresso Martini, Ube Cold Brew and Ube Martini.
The launch marks another step in Starbucks' premiumisation strategy as the company expands specialised coffee experiences in key urban markets.
Sushant Dash, CEO, TATA Starbucks, said, "Jubilee Hills has been an integral part of our journey in Hyderabad, and returning to this neighborhood with our first Starbucks Reserve® store in South India is especially meaningful. As one of our strongest markets with over 30 stores, Hyderabad continues to embrace new coffee experiences, making it a natural home for Starbucks Reserve®. This store reflects our commitment to celebrating the craft of coffee through small lot coffees, artisanal brewing by our baristas, and thoughtfully curated experiences. We look forward to welcoming customers into a space where coffee, craftsmanship, and community come together in new and meaningful ways."
Hyderabad currently has more than 30 Starbucks stores, making it one of the brand's largest markets in India. The introduction of the Reserve format highlights the growing demand for premium coffee experiences and specialised beverage concepts within the country's organised café sector.
