Restaurant India News: Virat Kohli’s one8 Commune Opens in Goa

one8 Commune, officially opened its 16th outlet in the country, this time in Goa. Nestled along the tranquil Chapora riverside and surrounded by Siolim’s winding lanes and towering palms, the new outpost offers a stunning mix of coastal serenity and neighbourhood warmth.

Conceptualised by Designer Aayushi Malik, the space brings to life a Mediterranean dreamscape sun-kissed textures, flowing fabric canopies, wooden walkways, and floral tasselled umbrellas that open up to uninterrupted river views. Guests can lounge by the water on plush seating or come together at spacious alfresco tables, where long, lazy lunches effortlessly turn into golden-hour evenings.

Inside, the restaurant unfolds like a rustic Italian home glass door, a wood-finished bar, and indoor palms that bridge the outdoors with the interior. A softly lit lounge transitions into a semi-open terrace, creating an inviting atmosphere for families, friends, or couples looking to linger over sunset cocktails or dinner under the stars.
