Restaurant India News: TIGERFIRE Vodka Launches in Gurugram at Rs 2,950 Amid Premium Spirits Boom

TIGERFIRE Vodka has expanded its India footprint with a launch in Gurugram, marking its entry into the National Capital Region (NCR). The French-crafted super-premium vodka is co-founded by Sanjay Dutt and entrepreneur Paresh Ghelani.

The move follows earlier rollouts in Mumbai and Goa, along with distribution across premium retail and on-premise channels in the United States. Gurugram represents a high-value consumption hub with strong nightlife density, premium retail infrastructure, and a concentration of affluent urban consumers.

According to IWSR industry data, India’s vodka category is currently growing at nearly 10 percent year-on-year, while premium-and-above spirits are expanding by around 8 percent in both value and volume. Growth is being supported by younger urban consumers and an evolving cocktail culture across metro markets. White spirits continue to rank among the fastest-growing segments in nightlife-driven destinations, positioning Gurugram as a strategic on-trade opportunity for super-premium brands.

Priced at Rs 2,950 in Gurugram, TIGERFIRE Vodka is produced in France using 100 percent pastry grade French winter wheat and limestone-filtered groundwater. The liquid undergoes triple distillation, triple charcoal filtration and micro-oxygenation. The product has received a 95/100 rating from the Beverage Testing Institute. The brand positions itself within the character-led luxury segment, targeting consumers prioritising quality over volume.

Sanjay Dutt, Co-Founder, TIGERFIRE Vodka, said, “TIGERFIRE comes from my life. I’ve always believed in never giving in, no matter what comes your way. This brand carries that spirit. Gurugram feels like the right place for TIGERFIRE’s next step, it’s bold, fast-moving and full of people who appreciate quality and individuality.”

Paresh Ghelani, co-founder, added, “Gurugram represents an important step in our India expansion as we scale TIGERFIRE across influential consumption hubs. With consumers increasingly prioritising quality and experience over sheer volume, the market aligns strongly with our vision for the brand. This launch strengthens our presence in the NCR and reflects our focused approach of building a brand across high-potential urban markets.”

The vodka will be available across select retail and on-trade outlets in Gurugram. The company has indicated plans to expand into additional North and South Indian markets in the coming months, aligning with broader premiumisation trends in India’s spirits industry.

The launch reflects continued momentum in the super-premium white spirits category, as international-origin brands seek to establish presence in high-spend urban clusters through a calibrated retail and on-premise strategy.
