After establishing a presence at Embassy Tech Village and JP Nagar, The Studs Sports Bar & Grill has announced the launch of its next flagship outlet in Sahakarnagar, marking its expansion into North Bangalore’s residential and corporate catchment. The new location will open to the public from 7th March onwards.
The Sahakarnagar property represents a calibrated shift in format. While the brand initially built traction through high-energy sports-driven environments, the new outlet is positioned as a neighbourhood-first bar designed for repeat weekday visits. The move builds on the consumer base developed at its earlier JP Nagar presence and reflects a strategy aimed at deeper micro-market penetration rather than city-wide scale alone.
Spread across 5,000 sq. ft. with a 130-seater configuration, the outlet has been structured as a daily-use social bar. The positioning targets after-work consumers, small corporate gatherings, family outings and local residents seeking accessible dining options within close proximity. The objective is to reduce dependency on peak match days and weekend spikes by activating consistent weekday footfall.
The beverage program includes 10 beers on tap, including multiple craft options, placing it among the stronger tap line-ups in North Bangalore. The offering is supported by a curated cocktail selection and a food menu structured for repeat consumption.
“The momentum we have seen at Embassy Tech Village reaffirmed that people are looking for immersive yet comfortable social spaces,” said Miten Shah, Co-Founder. “With Sahakarnagar, we have taken that learning and evolved it further. This is not positioned as just a match destination — it’s designed to become part of the neighbourhood’s everyday rhythm.”
Co-Founder Abhilash Menon added, “Sahakarnagar allowed us to upgrade the format. While live sport remains part of our DNA, this outlet balances that energy with warmth and familiarity. It’s an everyday bar for corporates around the area and a high-energy social sports club for residents — a space that feels just as natural on a Tuesday evening as it does during a tournament final.”
Unlike conventional sports bars built primarily around large-scale screenings, the Sahakarnagar outlet integrates premium audio-visual systems designed to maintain immersive viewing without overwhelming the dining environment. The strategy reflects an industry-wide trend where sports-led venues are evolving into hybrid social formats that operate beyond marquee fixtures.
The company has set a clear localised target: to become the preferred option within a 3–4 km radius. This hyperlocal focus aligns with changing urban consumption patterns, where customers prioritise convenience and proximity over destination travel across the city.
On the culinary front, the menu includes contemporary global dishes and modern Indian options designed for sharing. Offerings include Togarashi Lotus, Chilly Plum Babycorn, Truffle Mushroom Potli and Kalmi Paneer Tikka. Larger plates such as Tartufo Mushroom Pasta, Fiery Asian Sizzler, Chettinad Pepper Paneer, Spicy Cilantro Chicken Pizza, The Studs Smash Burger and Slow-cooked Ceylon Lamb Curry are positioned to support longer stays. Desserts like Rasmalai Panna Cotta and Dark Matter complete the meal cycle.
The outlet also incorporates interactive gaming elements, curated music programming and seating layouts structured for extended visits, reinforcing the shift toward habit-based dining rather than event-driven spikes.
With this launch, The Studs Sports Bar & Grill continues its expansion strategy in Bangalore, balancing its sports-led identity with a broader neighbourhood bar model. As competition intensifies across the city’s casual dining and bar segment, the success of the Sahakarnagar outlet will depend on its ability to sustain weekday demand while maintaining the energy associated with its original format.
