With over 15 years in luxury hospitality, Chef Biswajit brings with him a nuanced understanding of Japanese, Thai and Chinese cuisines disciplines that demand both restraint and precision. His culinary philosophy balances technical finesse with thoughtful sourcing, promising to elevate the riverside dining experience into one that is both refined and rooted in authenticity.

Chef Biswajit joins the property from ZLB 23 at The Leela Palace Bengaluru, and his career trajectory reflects stints at some of India’s most respected kitchens. These include Mikusu at Conrad Bengaluru, the iconic Edo at ITC Gardenia, and Zen at The Leela Palace Bengaluru. Across these brands, he has built a reputation for technical precision in sushi craftsmanship and an innovative approach that champions sustainable, locally sourced ingredients qualities that resonate strongly with today’s discerning diners.

At Riverside, Chef Biswajit will helm menu innovation and kitchen operations while curating bespoke culinary showcases.
