The Golden Tusk, an experiential family Holiday retreat on the edge of Jim Corbett National Park, has expanded its dining portfolio with the revamp of its signature all-day dining, buffet + à la carte restaurant, “The Golden Forest.”
The Golden Forest at The Golden Tusk offers beautiful views of Corbett National Park from its indoor and outdoor dining areas. Recently expanded by 350 sq. ft., it now features live Indian street food and a special Kumaoni corner with local dishes like Aloo Gutke, Bhatt ki Churkani, Kaapa, Bhang ki Chutney, and Jhangore ki Kheer, along with Indian, Oriental, and Continental options.
Spread across 10 acres, The Golden Tusk blends comfort with eco-friendly practices. It offers various room types, two swimming pools, kids’ pools, a spa, a games room, a convention centre, and warm hospitality close to nature. The redesigned restaurant has more seating, high ceilings, and décor inspired by the forest, creating a warm, natural setting. Guests can enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffets while admiring the scenic views. Live cooking stations and chef’s specials highlight fresh, seasonal ingredients.
Other dining options at The Golden Tusk include The Jungle Grill (open-air BBQ), Water Dining (meals served in shallow water), The Gin Tree (bar and lounge), and Private Dining for special occasions. The resort plans to add new dining experiences like chef’s table dinners, farm-to-fork menus, and outdoor grills under the stars.
Speaking on the expansion, Anirudh Lakhotia, Director, Ivory Destinations, said, “With the revamped Golden Forest, we wanted to go beyond dining and create spaces that cater to diverse guest preferences and celebrate local culture and ingredients that embody the local Kumaoni spirit of Corbett. Guests can now enjoy not only great food but also the ambience and storytelling of the forest in every meal.”
