Atlantis The Royal has appointed Daniel Worsley as Vice President, Hotel Operations. The move places a seasoned hospitality professional with more than 20 years of experience in charge of overseeing core hotel functions at the ultra-luxury resort.
Originally from Australia and a graduate of the International College of Management, Sydney, Worsley began his career in operational roles across front office, concierge, housekeeping, and night management. His early exposure to multiple departments shaped his management approach, with a focus on accountability and team engagement.
He advanced within one of Australia’s largest integrated resorts, taking on senior operational roles early in his career. At 20 years old, he was appointed Night Manager, responsible for overnight hotel operations in coordination with security and casino teams. He later became Executive Assistant Manager and contributed to the property achieving a Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star rating within his first year, positioning it among the first in Australia to receive that recognition.
In 2019, Worsley joined Atlantis, The Palm, where he led front office operations. Over seven consecutive years, he delivered record-breaking upselling results and improved revenue performance while implementing new service standards across the resort.
Following this tenure, he has now been promoted to Vice President, Hotel Operations at Atlantis The Royal. In his current role, he oversees the Rooms Division, with responsibility for operational delivery, service standards, and personalisation strategies.
The appointment reflects a continued focus on structured operational leadership within large-scale luxury resorts. Worsley’s background in front office performance optimisation and service culture development aligns with broader hospitality trends that prioritise revenue management, guest personalisation, and team-led service execution.
Management indicated that his leadership style emphasises accessibility, transparency, and accountability, with a focus on building resilient teams and supporting internal talent development. His elevation to the role signals a continuity-driven leadership approach within the Atlantis portfolio as the brand strengthens operational governance across its premium assets.
