Restaurant India News: The Fern Hotels Expands Gujarat Presence With 3 New Marriott-Linked Properties

The Fern Hotels & Resorts has signed three new hotel properties in Gujarat as part of its ongoing expansion strategy across key commercial markets in India. The new additions include The Fern Residency Rajkot, KKV Circle, Series by Marriott; The Fern Habitat Vadodara, Series by Marriott; and LPS The Fern Surat, Gaurav Path Road, Series by Marriott.

With these signings, the hospitality chain’s total number of operational and upcoming properties in Gujarat has reached 40, strengthening its presence across business-driven and emerging urban destinations in the state.

The company said the expansion aligns with its strategy of catering to both business and leisure travellers through properties focused on operational efficiency, sustainable practices, and standardised guest experiences.

The Fern Residency Rajkot, KKV Circle, Series by Marriott will include 77 rooms and suites along with an all-day dining restaurant, conference room, and banquet facilities aimed at corporate meetings and social events. The property is scheduled to open in 2028.

The Fern Habitat Vadodara, Series by Marriott will feature 98 rooms and suites along with dining and event facilities targeting both business and leisure demand in the city. The hotel is expected to open in the second half of 2026.

Meanwhile, LPS The Fern Surat, Gaurav Path Road, Series by Marriott will add 182 rooms and suites to the group’s Gujarat portfolio. The property will also include an all-day dining restaurant, terrace bar, conference room, and banquet facilities positioned to serve Surat’s growing corporate and social event market.
