Travel Food Services Limited (TFS), a major operator of travel-focused quick service restaurants and airport lounges, has commenced operations at Noida International Airport (NIA), expanding its footprint across India's growing aviation infrastructure network.
With this addition, TFS now operates across 21 airports in India, Malaysia, and Hong Kong, further strengthening its position in the airport hospitality segment.
At the newly launched airport, the company has introduced a portfolio of travel QSR outlets alongside its Travel Club Lounge. The food and beverage offering combines international brands with TFS's proprietary concepts, catering to the evolving preferences of air travellers. The Travel Club Lounge has been designed to provide passengers with dedicated spaces to dine and unwind before boarding their flights.
In its initial phase, the airport will have the capacity to handle 12 million passengers annually, with long-term plans to expand this figure to 70 million passengers per annum. The development is expected to improve regional connectivity and support the continued growth of both domestic and international air travel. The expansion highlights the increasing opportunities within airport ecosystems, where food service and lounge experiences are becoming integral components of the passenger journey.
Varun Kapur, Managing Director and CEO, TFS, said, "The opening of Noida International Airport is a significant step forward for Indian aviation, and we are proud to be part of it from the beginning. Our approach is centred on delivering seamless and thoughtful experiences across every stage of the traveller journey. We aim to bring together innovative food & formats designed for the modern Indian traveller and will continue to expand our presence as airport operations scale up. Our sincere thanks to the Noida International Airport authorities and partners for their continued support."
Christoph Schnellmann, Vice Chairman, Noida International Airport, added, "As we commence commercial operations, our priority is to deliver a seamless and enjoyable experience for every passenger. We are delighted to have Travel Food Services as part of our airport ecosystem from day one, offering a diverse range of food and beverage options and premium lounge facilities, which will contribute to the high standards of service and hospitality that travellers can expect from day one."
The partnership reflects the broader transformation taking place across India's airport infrastructure, where operators are increasingly focusing on enhancing non-aeronautical revenues through premium hospitality offerings. With Noida International Airport expected to scale significantly over the coming years, TFS is positioned to expand its portfolio of QSR concepts and lounge services in line with rising passenger demand.
