Shangri-La Bengaluru has appointed Raman Sood as Resident Manager, reflecting a continued focus on operational efficiency and guest experience in the luxury hospitality segment.

Raman brings extensive experience in hotel operations, with a strong background in food and beverage and service delivery. In his new role, he will be responsible for overseeing core operational functions, with an emphasis on improving service standards and overall performance.

His career spans multiple international markets, including India, the UAE, Canada, and the United States, highlighting cross-market operational exposure and leadership experience. Over the years, he has held senior roles at global hospitality brands such as Taj Hotels, The Ritz-Carlton, JW Marriott, Burj Al Arab, and W Hotels. His experience includes managing large-scale hotel operations, strengthening guest engagement, and building operational teams across diverse markets.

In his current position, Raman will focus on improving operational processes, executing strategic priorities, and ensuring coordination across departments to maintain consistent service delivery.
